Yesterday afternoon, Peggle 2 producer Jared Neuss revealed via a Facebook post that his team is currently working on a free multiplayer mode DLC add-on for their highly popular puzzle game. Carrying the title of Duels , this mode will allow players to compete against each other both locally and online in head-to-head matchups on the same board. Diehard fans of the original Peggle loved this mode and will enjoy seeing how it works in tandem with all the updates made in Peggle 2 .
While no official release date is set yet for Duels , Neuss did tease that hey have planned a lot more surprises for Peggle 2 . The team is expected to have a consistent flow of updates over the course of the next couple of months, along with a community gaming night hosted by the development team. Expect more details on all of this information as soon as we receive it.
