Yesterday, the internet was abuzz with news. Peter Molyneux was leaving gaming! He was retiring from the industry. It was coming straight from his official account, so it had to be true.
It wasn’t true.
Molyneux was hacked and quickly came online to set things to right. The hacker said he was retiring and Godus , his god game, was being pulled from Steam. He immediately issued new tweets saying all was well and Godus won’t be going anywhere.
It goes to show you – beware of any “news” you hear on social media.
