Pokémon Platinum Confirmed for DS

According to Japan’s Coro Coro Magazine, Pokémon Platinum will release exclusively for Nintendo DS. The game will not be an original title as it will simply further expand Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Here’s a list of the rumored information outlined in Coro Coro Magazine via Nintendo Everything:

• Pokémon Platinum, set for September release. Giratina is on the box.
• Volkner is no longer the gym leader of Sunyshore City.
• The Underground is now Wi-Fi enabled.
• An island called Battle Island, works in the same manner as the Battle Frontier.
• Several new Pokémon ‘forms’ exist in the game including: Giratina’s Origin Form, Regigigas’ Sky Form, and Shaymin’s Another Form

Giratina & Regigigas’ new forms are said to be able to get the Levitate ability and Shaymin’s Another form may be at least part “Ice Type”.
