Nintendo Details Newest Pokemon Expansion
Nintendo recently revealed some of what gamers can expect from The Crown Tundra , the second and potentially final expansion for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield .
The first expansion, Isle of Armor , released in June and was a sizable addition to the main game, adding iconic Pokemon to the game’s Pokedex in addition to a wealth of other features. The Crow Tundra will follow suit, adding more Pokemon to the game’s sizable roster. Players will also gain access to an all new story set, a Galarian form of Slowking, a snowy locale, and access to every Legendary pokemon from the prior games.
The legendary pokemon will be primarily encountered in a new kind of den, and some of them will be exclusive to either Sword or Shield. Players will be able to work on completing this whole new section to the game’s pokedex when the expansion comes out on the Nintendo Switch on October 22, 2020.

Microsoft Further Improves Game Pass with EA Play
Microsoft has made huge strides throughout 2020 to increase the appeal of its subscription gaming service, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It recently acquired ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda, and will feature many titles from the publisher on Game Pass. This week, Microsoft also announced that EA Play will be included as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for no extra cost.
What this means, essentially, is that customers who have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions will gain access to a vast library of EA Play games on Xbox consoles like Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. They will also gain access to titles on PC as well as some cloud streaming options for Android devices.
EA Play is a service that has formerly been known as EA Access and Origin Access. This move by Microsoft should help gamers reduce the number of subscriptions they maintain, which is a relief when you look at how many subscription services currently exist.

NetherRealm Studios Releases Halloween Content for Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath
Halloween is right around the corner, which might come as a surprise to some who feel as since quarantine has absolutely obliterated their perception of time. To celebrate the upcoming holiday, NetherRealm Studios has created the “All Hallows’ Eve Skin Pack,” for Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath .
Thanks to a new update, the costume pack is already available for players who have purchased Aftermath . It comes with costumes for Sub-Zero, D’vorah, and Johnny Cage. These costumes have a campy feel which feels like the appropriate choice. Mortal Kombat can be pretty horrific at its core, and the series has often tempered its violence with over-the-top additions like the “babalities” and “friendship” finishing moves.
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is an expansion for Mortal Kombat 11 that launched with a range of featured and an All-New cinematic story. Between it and the base game, there is a ton of content already available to the player, but it is great to see the game continue to grow. Dataminers who have dug through this newest update claim to have discovered files which hint at even more future content. If their claims are accurate, players might have Mileena, Rain, and Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo to look forward to.
