Pokken Tournament eShop Listing Details Size, Controller Options

What is Pokken Tournament, you ask? It’s a Pokemon fighting game, and the folks from Tekken came on board to make sure action and the fighting are top-notch. If you haven’t already, go watch some gameplay footage; this is a legitimate, tournament-level fighting game. It’s even making its debut at EVO 2016 this year! The game comes out March 18, so we’re just over a month away. Nintendo has already updated the eShop with a listing for Pokken Tournament, and it gives us all of the details we’ve been waiting for.

You can pretty much use whatever controller suits you for this one. HORI has produced a pad made specifically for Pokken Tournament , but I can’t imagine many will opt to use it since it’s not compatible with any other games. The rest of you can use the Wii U Pro Controller or Gamepad, Wii Remotes with or without a nunchuck, or the Classic Controller Pro. As far as the amount of space you’ll need to clear up on your hard drive, good news: Pokken Tournament weighs in at a modest 4.2 gigs. March 18 can’t come soon enough.
