Late Friday afternoon, Power Chord Academy sent us the news that they will be hosting band camps for video gamers looking to improve their Rock Band and Guitar Hero skills. At first we weren’t sure what to make of it, but after reading through the presser we can’t wait to sign up… well, not really, but we felt we had to share the news with you. Interested individuals can sign up for three-day or one-day courses called GameROCKERS and iROCKER , respectively. Amazingly, they found a way to incorporate the infamous Apple “i” into one of their programs. Participants will be given pointers, have competitions, have a chance to win prizes, and could even be visited by real musicians. Place and dates were not mentioned.
