Infinite Interactive, developers of Puzzle Quest, are making a third installment in the series. Galactrix will soon release, but that hasn’t stopped them from shamelessly promoting Deathbringer. Deathbringer will be set in the same world as the original Puzzle Quest, but it will concentrate more heavily on the RPG elements and even go so far as to include a branching, multi-level dungeon mechanic. Though the addictive puzzle action we all love is not being abandoned. Best of all, two-player co-op play will be supported. Deathbringer is being developed for PC and will later be ported to all three current home consoles. Expect a late 2009 or early 2010 release.
