Publishers are going remaster-crazy right now, and we’re okay with that. Just last week I was perusing Steam, thinking about pulling the trigger on Assassin’s Creed II. It’s one of my favorite games of all time and, in my opinion, it’s still the best Assassin’s Creed game to date. The story arc that unfolds through Ezio’s series of games is what propelled the series to Game-of-all-Time greatness, and I’ve been dying to experience it anew.
Thankfully, Ubisoft seems to think that I’m not the only one. A remastered trilogy of Assassin’s Creed games may be on the horizon. NeoGAF user “catmario” noticed an interesting listing on the Korean Game Rating Board. The listing is for PS4 and Xbox One versions of Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection . The KGRB has a history of prematurely listing its game ratings, so we’re pretty sure that Ubisoft will be announcing the Ezio Collection officially some time soon. To clarify, we’d expect that collection to contain remastered versions of Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations . Get hyped.
