Red Dead fans are hungry. For months there has been endless speculation as to when we might see an official reveal for Red Dead Redemption 2 . The original Red Dead Redemption is one of the most highly rated games of the last generation, and many consider it to be Rockstar’s flagship masterpiece. If you’re a newbie wanting to start from the very beginning, or a long-time fan just looking to scratch an itch while you wait for Rockstar to officially announce a sequel, a PS2 game has popped up on PS4 that may be just the ticket.
Red Dead Revolver is now available on the PlayStation store for $15. Don’t expect the same level of polish or a huge, open wild west experience. Revolver is much more modest in its scope than its PS3 sequel. Regardless, the game was still well-reviewed when it released in 2004, and should provide some interesting backstory and lore for the more devoted bounty hunters out there.
