Resident Evil 6 Features Over Four Hours Of Cutscenes

Resident Evil 6 Features Over Four Hours Of Cutscenes

None

Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield’s next adventure will sport some Kojima-esque cutscene time, according to the British Board of Film Classification.

In their official classification for Resident Evil 6, in which they gave the game an “18” rating (essentially an “M” to North American markets—surprise, surprise), the BBFC revealed that the forthcoming title features approximately 255 minutes of cutscenes in total.

By comparison, Resident Evil 5 had a little over an hour of total cutscene time, while RE4 features around two hours.

While the figure may seem a bit daunting at first, Capcom has said that RE6 will contain a fairly sizable overall campaign, made up of three smaller campaigns featuring Leon, Chris, Jake Muller, and a still unknown fourth protagonist to be unlocked following the other campaigns’ completion.

Resident Evil 6 is currently scheduled to drop on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 2, with PC version to come at a later date.
