Although most people saw this one coming, Harmonix made it official today that all Rock Band downloadable content will be compatible only with Rock Band 3. Although Rock Band 1 and 2 users can continue to purchase and download previous content, the online store in both of those games will not be updated going forward. Rock Band 3 is compatible with all downloadable content from previous versions of Rock Band, although additional features like Pro-Mode and Keys will not work with the tracks in Rock Band 3.  |
