5th Cell, the developer of the popular Sribblenauts series, is now working on a game for PC that seems to rival that series in creativity and player freedom.
Entitled Anchors in the Drift, the game is now in full production and is seeking $500,000 on the crowdfunding site, Fig. Anchors in the Drift is set to be the second title to launch on Fig’s service.
The game will allow players to collect cards which they can then combine and turn into custom abilities. This free-to-play action RPG will task players with liberating dynamically created islands called Remnants. Once they do, players receive loot, xp, and leaderboard rankings.
There is currently no release date, but the game has been in development for over a year now.
