Skyrim’s Dawnguard DLC Gets Debut Trailer

Skyrim’s Dawnguard DLC Gets Debut Trailer

None

Prepare your horned helms, Skyrim players; Dawnguard, the first official expansion pack to the fifth entry in the Elder Scrolls series, has received its debut trailer.

While concrete plot details still remain scarce, it would appear that your Dovahkiin will be messing around with some vampires come this summer. As typical with the Elder Scrolls series, expect to be able to join the bloodsuckers, and rally against the “tyranny of the sun” (as their presumed leader terms it), or side with the titular vampire hunters themselves and do your best Van Helsing impersonation. You can check out all the winged beasts, dark magic, and brooding music for yourself in the official trailer .

As announced earlier this month, Dawnguard will be available exclusively for Xbox 360 first, with the PC and PlayStation 3 joining in on the action at a later date. The DLC will run you 1600 Microsoft points, and will be released sometime this summer. Expect Bethesda to shell out more details about the add-on during E3 next week; if they do, we’ll be sure to fill you in.
