After plenty of teasing and AR games, Overwatch’ s much-hyped hacker is headed into the game. The offensive infiltrator, Sombra, is slipping through the cracks. The heroine was confirmed at BlizzCon 2016, with plenty of details going over what she can get up to in a game.
Sombra is an offense heroine who’s considered a three-star difficulty character. She comes with a fully-automatic machine pistol and can hack enemies and first aid kits to prevent ability usage or healing. She can set up a translocator beacon, which she can head back to when it’s active. She can use Thermotic Camo to become temporarily invisible, and has a EMP blast that can hack opponents and destroy their defenses.
What Sombra doesn’t have is a release date. We don’t know when she’ll be in Overwatch . What we do have, though, is one of those awesome animated shorts Blizzard has been putting together for its heroes and heroines. “Infiltration” is pretty amazing. If you don’t love Sombra before you see it, you will after.
