Sonic Adventure 2 Returning

None

Classic Dreamcast title Sonic Adventure 2 will apparently be ported to Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network, according to an announcement publisher SEGA made during its Sonic Boom event this past weekend at San Diego Comic-Con.

text No formal word form SEGA has yet been given, but the reveal was made public through a user-taken YouTube video that has yet to be taken down. As such, we don’t have many details to share about the port, but we can say that it will be part of the publisher’s continued SEGA Heritage program, and that it should be coming out sometime this fall.

The announcement has been hinted at for a little while now, as last month a short-lived listing for Sonic Adventure 2 was put up on Xbox.com, stating that it will release on October 3 and include local multiplayer, leaderboards, and downloadable content. We’re not sure if the game will be a straight port or a HD remake, but once the word is given, we’ll be sure to let you know.
