Sony has announced PSN Day 1 Digital, a new promotion which will see the company offer full copies of some of the biggest upcoming releases on PlayStation Network the same day they launch in stores.
The program will kick off next month, with “digital game launches” for the following titles: Resident Evil 6 (Oct. 2), NBA 2K13 (Oct. 2), Dishonored (Oct. 9), DOOM 3: BFG Edition (Oct. 16), 007 Legends (Oct. 16), Medal of Honor: Warfighter (Oct. 23), Need For Speed: Most Wanted (Oct. 30), and Assassin’s Creed (Oct. 30).
If you’re a PlayStation Plus member, the PSN Day 1 Digital program will allow you to pre-order NBA 2K13, Dishonored, DOOM 3: BFG Edition, and/or Need For Speed: Most Wanted and receive 10% off their original prices. 007 Legends, meanwhile, will give PS Plus members a 10% discount for the first week of availability no matter what.
