It appears Sony is now flirting with a download service for PSP that will allow users to purchase “classics from on-Sony platforms.” According to MTV Multiplayer, ” Sony has been talking to publishers about bringing classics from beyond the Sony console family to the PSP’s download service.” John Koller, Sony’s head of U.S. marketing, stated in an interview that “In general there’s a lot of discussion about [publishers’] back catalogs that will finally find its way to PlayStation Network in the back half of this year.” Also, Sony will also try to get third-party publisher to give the nod to original PlayStation titles. |
