Sony Settling a 5-Year Score With Free Games

Plenty of people might not even remember this, but in 2011 the PlayStation Network suffered a security breach that led to almost a month of PSN hiccups; everything from frequent disconnects to the service going totally offline for long stretches of time. As an apology, Sony offered free games to those affected. I’m not talking Nom Nom Galaxy, PS+ free games, I’m talking Infamous and Little Big Planet free games. The good stuff. The thing is, not everyone who claimed to be affected by the outage was reimbursed properly, and a class action lawsuit followed.
