Sony Will Stream It’s Press Conference to the PS Vita

Last year at Sony’s E3 press conference, Sony really pushed the Vita as the next generation of handheld gaming and entertainment. This year, Sony will show what the Vita is capable of by actually streaming their E3 conference on the Vita platform. SCEE blog manager Fred Dutton recently confirmed that Sony is finalizing plans for the Vita stream, though he couldn’t provide details on how the stream would work. All he could say was that we would be able to “watch the show somewhere somehow on your Vita.”

The Sony E3 press conference will begin at 6 p.m. PST on June 10 th . The company live-streamed it’s conference through Ustream last year, the current streaming service of choice for the PlayStation 4. Sony has not yet announced what streaming service they will be using to broadcast this year’s press conference, though Ustream is still likely a safe bet.
