The wait for Star Wars: The Force Awakens just got a little bit harder. It’s bad enough we still have two more months to wait for the next entry in the Star Wars series to hit theaters, but it turns out December 18 won’t just be the day the movie premieres. It will also be the release date for the Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars: The Force Awakens Play Set and NFC figures.
There are five NFC pieces total based on Star Wars: The Force Awakens . The $34.99 Play Set pack includes a Play Set NFC figure that adds a campaign based on the movie to the game. It also includes figures of Finn and Rey, which makes them playable within Disney Infinity 3.0 . Poe Dameron and Kylo Ren figures will also be available for $13.99 each. All four are compatible with that Play Set, as are many of the other Star Wars Disney Infinity 3.0 characters.
Pre-orders have opened for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Play Set and figures for Disney Infinity 3.0. There’s no bonus for pre-ordering and these NFC figures are usually plentiful, so it’d be wise to wait until their release in the event of Toys R Us having one of its buy one, get one 40% off NFC figure promotions.
