State of Decay, the massively successful, open-world zombie game, has become the fastest selling original game in Xbox LIVE’s history. The game has surpassed a total of 500,000 paid downloads.
For those that are hoping for a PC release, you’re in luck: the team is hard at work to prepare a PC version to release on Steam in the very near future. Aside from that, developer Undead Labs is preparing a sandbox mode that’s designed to be a pure survival simulation. In addition, they’re listening to fans for additional feedback.
Based on the game’s runaway success, I doubt this is the last we’ll hear from State of Decay.
