Super Smash Bros. gets a Super Mario Maker Stage

Super Smash Bros. gets a Super Mario Maker Stage

September is absolutely the month of Super Mario Maker . Not only did the September 11 release give the Wii U new life, but now it’s coming to Super Smash Bros. too. On September 30, both the 3DS and Wii U versions of the fighter will get a DLC stage based upon the level creator.

Here’s a trailer that shows what a wonderful development this is.

Every time someone plays on the Super Mario Maker stage in Super Smash Bros. , it will be different. It can tap into all the design styles, so you can see Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, and New Super Mario Bros. sorts of stages. The hand will create a level each time, replacing blocks broken during play. It’s going to be wonderfully weird.

If you buy the Super Mario Maker stage for one version, it’s $2.49. It’s $3.49 for both versions.
