Super Mario Maker’s Part of Nintendo’s 1 Million Club

Super Mario Maker’s Part of Nintendo’s 1 Million Club

With the Nintendo Wii U firmly in third place in this round of console wars, people probably forget that some titles really sell well. Super Mario Maker is one of them. Nintendo told Venturebeat that the game has really taken hold in the United States, with over one million copies sold in this country alone.

It’s in good company. This makes Super Mario Maker the sixth Wii U game to sell over a million copies. It’s part of a club that includes Mario Kart 8 , New Super Mario Bros. U , Splatoon , Super Mario 3D World , and Super Smash Bros .

The last sales figures for Super Mario Maker were released back at the end of September. It was then that the game had sold over one million copies worldwide. It’s made pretty positive progress over the last three months!
