Nintendo bulky new 3DS XL has sold an estimated 193,000 units in Japan since its July 28 launch, according to Enterbrain. The figure is about half as high as the handheld’s predecessor, the 3DS, which managed to sell out its entire Japanese shipment of 400,000 units in a day. The PlayStation Vita, meanwhile, sold a little over 321,000 units during its Japan launch last December.
