Telltale has made quite a few comic book games. There’s their Fables series, as well as the new Batman currently running. Not to mention The Walking Dead , which is inspired by the comic and show. It looks like their next one is going to be a Marvel series. The Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists documents dealing with strike information suggest Guardians of the Galaxy could be the next Telltale Games adventure series.
Of course, this isn’t confirmed by Telltale Games. It’s all based on the SAG-AFTRA list. On it, O’Farrell Enterprises, a company that handles voice acting for Telltale, was listed next to the third season of The Walking Dead and a Guardians of the Galaxy game. Now, it’s been updated to list the latter as “Untitled Marvel Game,” but clearly the damage has been done.
Wouldn’t a Guardians of the Galaxy game be great? The first movie was fantastic. It has a strong cast of characters that are easy to love. And clearly, Telltale Games knows how to handle comic book adaptations. Here’s hoping it’s officially announced soon!
