THQ Announces Darksiders II Limited Edition

In a recent press release, THQ announced that their upcoming action-adventure game, Darksiders II, would be getting a Limited Edition release. The Limited Edition release will be given free to anyone who decides to pre-order the game. It will come with a unique code giving the purchaser the ability to download Argul’s Tomb, the first DLC content pack for free once it becomes available.

Darksiders II will also be given a Collector’s Edition release as well. This version of the game will include everything the Limited Version has, as well as a life-sized replica Death Mask with display stand. It will also come with a unique Shadow of Death armor and scythe set of in-game equipment, a hardcover art book, and a digital copy of the Darksiders II soundtrack. The CE will be available in limited quantities, but can be purchased for all platforms for $99.

Darksiders II will be available on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on June 26, 2012.
