Have you played Two Worlds? If so, you probably skipped over Two Worlds II. The first game was ambitious, but didn’t make a strongly positive impression on either critics or players, especially in its buggy and poorly optimized Xbox 360 release. It did, however, sell well enough to warrant a sequel, and that sequel was vastly improved over its predecessor. You should probably play it, in fact, as someone out there has bestowed game of the year honors on the open-world, action-RPG title. TopWare Interactive is celebrating with the Two Worlds II: Velvet GotY Edition. Not only does this release include the Pirates of the Flying Fortress expansion, but a double-sided world map; a bonus disc with artwork, wallpapers, and videos; an extended soundtrack; two extra PvP maps; and a pirate head collectable pin with an in-game counterpart that boosts a player’s stats.
The Two Worlds II: Velvet Game of the Year Edition can be yours on October 18. |
