Ubisoft Details Upcoming Assassin's Creed PC Release

None

Ubisoft Entertainment Ltd. has released a mini press interview that details the early April release. Four new investigation types will be available including Archer Assassination, Rooftop Race Challenge, Merchant Stand Destruction Challenge, and Escort Challenge. That makes for a total of nine investigation types.

A.I. has been slightly improved to make blending close to a dead body impossible. Moreover, guards will react to you differently during stealth assassinations depending on how many people surround you. If there are a lot of people crowded about it will be very difficult for the guards to pick you out.

On the technical side of things, the game will support both DirectX 9 and DirectX 10. Depending on what kind of a system specs you have you will be able to choose the appropriate executable files and run the game with either DirectX application.

According to Ubisoft, “Any dual-core machine running at 2.2GHz and over with a decent graphic card (such as a ATi HD2600 or a NVidia 8600) will give great performances. Our minimum requirement is a Pentium D 2.4GHz or a AMD X2 Athlon 3800+, equipped with a Shader Model 3.0 card (ATi X1300 and better, NVidia 6600 and better).”

Finally, the Xbox 360 controller can be used for the PC, but there are also four customizable default keyboard/mouse settings to give PC gamers more direct control of the camera and menu screens.
