Ubisoft’s VR Games Will Have Cross-Platform Play

Ubisoft’s VR Games Will Have Cross-Platform Play

Cross-platform play is all the rage and for good reason! When you have that functionality, it’s possible to let everyone enjoy a game together. While virtual reality is still a new concept, Ubisoft has made a rather cool commitment. Three of its upcoming VR games will support cross-platform play.

All three are games that sound pretty good too. We’re talking about Star Trek: Bridge Commander, Werewolves Within, and Eagle Flight. All three are multiplayer games. And, when they launch, people with the PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift will all be able to play together. In Star Trek: Bridge Commander, people all fly a starship together. Eagle Flight lets multiple people fly as eagles across the sky. In Werewolves Within , players go through a version of the board game where you attempt to find out who are werewolves and who aren’t.

This is such great news. Especially for Star Trek: Bridge Commander and Werewolves Within . Both are games where you really need to all work together or against each other. Knowing that it’ll be possible to connect with everyone easily is great.
