Ubisoft Unveils Fighters Uncaged

None

When the Kinect was officially named by Microsoft and actual titles were finally being shown, it took many by surprise how few titles were being aimed at the typical gaming audience. Much of what was shown skewed towards the younger and less experienced crowds, immediately turning off more serious gamers as well as many in the press. With the lack of Kinect games being made for the current Xbox 360 audience, it should come as no surprise that someone finally announced a title that attempts to take advantage of this lack of competition.

Ubisoft has just announced Fighters Uncaged. Apparently, the game will make use of the Kinect, having players performing over seventy different strikes inspired by real martial arts. Fighters Uncaged will also allow for co-op play, letting you “take your enemies down with your friends.” In the press release Caroline Stevens, EMEA director of marketing at Ubisoft, states “Fighters Uncaged requires players to get out of their seat to engage in a controller-free full-body combat game and experience the authentic fighting style of Thai boxing.”
