According to Serebii in its latest update (2/21/13), Nintendo UK has announced a special Battle Tournament to be held across the UK this spring. There are four different titles to win during this tournament, which spreads out across different age groups and all contain different prizes. Peoples aged 13 and over are eligible to win the “Ultimate Pokémon Expert” title, which results in a trip to Japan and a fast track entry to the Video Game Championships event later on this year. The “Junior Expert” title goes to peoples ages 12 and under, and the respective prize is a weekend trip to the Alton Towers theme park in England. The “Ultimate Team” title is for a family of one person aged 16 and over and another person aged 13 and under in a Multi Battle, which rewards said family with £250 to spend on Nintendo’s store and a trip to EGX London 2014.
