Ümloud! Hits San Francisco Tomorrow

Ümloud! Hits San Francisco Tomorrow

In the midst of the 2012 charity season, Ümloud! Is gearing up for its annual night of Rock Band performances, silent auctions, and video game antics. The purpose is, of course, to generate funds for Child’s Play, the charity run by the folks at Penny-Arcade, which donates money and toys to children’s hospitals around the world.

This time around, the festivities will be hosted by none other than Tim Schaefer, face of Double Fine and an all around funny guy. He’ll be joined by spokespeople from Perfect World Entertainment and Unknown Worlds, two of the event’s Premiere sponsors.

With prizes from Tecmo Koei (and its Team Ninja subdivision), EnMasse Entertainment, SEGA, Namco Bandai, Sledgehammer Games, and XSEED (among others), the event should prove just as enjoyable for those with a love of gaming as it will for individuals who enjoy rock music. The event takes place at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco, California, tomorrow night. Doors open to the public at 7PM PST and will cost $15 ar rhe door, but can be purchased for $10 online.
