Fujisoft announced today that the Everyone’s Theater Wii service for Japanese Wii consumers will be getting support from Warner Entertainment Japan and Warner Brothers Digital Distribution. According to an IGN report, a number of classic Warner Brothers films wiil be made available for digital rental on the Wii. “Fifty-four movies will be available starting tomorrow (July 15), priced at the service’s standard rental price of 300 Wii Points for 48 hours.” Movies will include such titles as Batman Begins, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Goonies, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, along with 50 others. There’s still no word as to when the service will be available Stateside.
