Even though North America has yet to receive the Sony exclusive White Knight Chronicles, Famitsu magazine of Japan is reporting that a sequel is already in the works. According to IGN’s John Tanaka, “the magazine didn’t actually say anything about the sequel, except that it’s in production. It also provided hints that main character Leonard will return.” Beside the confirmation of the development of a sequel, the focus of the Famitsu article was actually centered on upcoming content expansion for the original: 2 nd Wave.
This update will bring with it a handful of new features to the game, including “the ability to create your own world in the game’s Georama social network.” This functionality will allow you to create NPCs and to invite other players to your world. Also, players will be able to customize their in-game persona in order to distinguish them. It is assumed that all these upgrades will be included with the Western retail copy when it releases in the first part of 2010. |
