Xbox One updates are a big deal. Even though many of the changes end up being minor, sometimes big, cool things come from them. Which is why people who are fortunate enough to be preview members clamor at the chance to test them out. Said people will be really excited today, since the Xbox One August update is waiting for them.

Preview members who download the Xbox One August update should know there are some issues with it. After all, they’re participating in a beta. Again, the problems are minor. Those using Turtle Beach’s Elite 800X as their headset may have trouble hearing the host sometimes. Mass Effect has some streaming quirks, due to some backwards compatibility issues. Also, Xbox Fitness may freeze the console when resuming from Instant-On and require a hard reboot.
