Devoted Xbox One owners may not be spending only $60 on October 27 to grab Halo 5: Guardians . They might end up spending $210 to grab both Halo 5 and the most advanced version of the Xbox One controller. The $150 wireless controller is going to also be out at the end of next month.
But why is the Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller so expensive? Well, it has metal analog sticks and directional pads that can be swapped out so you get the one that best fits your hands. The aforementioned directional pad is faceted, to allow for a better grip.
The triggers are vastly improved as well. There are hair trigger locks. You can also adjust sensitivities of it and the other buttons via an app, with multiple profiles in the app and up to two profiles saved to a controller at a time.
The Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller even comes with its own carrying case. Swanky! Maybe that will make it worth $150 next month?
