Old Times (Side Quest)
This seems like the quest that would originally unlock the Hippodrome races, but now they unlock automatically. Still, there's XP, and the questline eventually leads to a free mount. Talk to an old acquaintance immediately west of the Hippodrome to start.
When the convo ends, meet him at the tavern in Kanopus, a ways to the east.
Cutscenes happen, then you'll drunkenly follow Claridas somwhere.
More talking and then a fight breaks out, but it doesn't matter, another cutscene will intervene before either of you falls.
Even more talking and the mission ends. Kind of depressing, really, but some of the easiest XP you'll make all game.
