Another interesting concept was that the Vampires vision and senses are hindered by the constant rain that falls around your character, which adds something to the game. Unfortunately, the A.I. of the enemies is a bit lackluster. Even if they are hindered by the rain, there would be no reason you could stand in their "vision cone" for five seconds and have them not see you. Even if they did kill me a lot, I would have liked to see them react a little better than an enemy from an 8-bit game. As for online gameplay, the typical deathmatch and capture the flag, called flame here, are present. The online gameplay is almost unmentionable. The only possible saving grace is that when you fall in combat you will have the choice to become one of the undead, thus reaping the benefits of being a vampire. Nevertheless, the online gameplay still is not worth dropping 60 bucks.

As for graphics, they are not what you might expect from next gen software, but they are not appalling to look at. The problem is that several times when you are stunned you will fall in the most peculiar places, like the wall next to you, the boxes you were trying to hide behind, and even the concrete pavement beneath your feet. These problems should not be permitable in a game in today's market. Now for the voice acting. As I stated earlier, there are those movies that triumph when the acting is so bad that it makes you laugh. Vampire Rain's dialogue could be humorous if it wasn't so painful to listen to.
In closing, I would like to say to all of the vampire enthusiasts out there, if you have ever wanted to see if you would survive a vampire attack, here's your chance to find out. For everyone else that doesn't desire to know that a vampire would end their life in two hits, stay away from it. Honestly, there's really no reason to pick this game up for the 60 buck price tag. I would say rental, but even then that might be stretching it a bit. If you are the diehard vampire sort, you could find some enjoyment out of this title, if only to experience the pain involved with dealing with the undead bloodsuckers.
