Soul Saga Is Still On Track Despite Complications

Soul Saga Is Still On Track Despite Complications

When you back a game on Kickstarter, you can expect some complications. Oftentimes, this means that the game in question will be delayed. Mike Gale, the developer of Soul Saga has been suffering from a condition that has left him in bed for three months. However, despite his clear need for rest and recovery, he still claims that Soul Saga will be released by the end of the year.

Over the past few months, Gale has suffered from a ruptured disc in his spine, leaving him bedridden yet busy.

“I have barely been able to walk, and unable to sit for about three months now. The doctor says I will probably need surgery,” Gale wrote. “But don’t worry, I won’t do something like that until Soul Saga is done. I want to make sure I get a good game to you as soon as possible. I’ve acquired a laptop so I can work from bed since I can’t sit at my normal workstation. I’m still personally clocking in ~100 hours a week on Soul Saga , so there shouldn’t be any delays from my end of the project.”

I’m sure backers apperciate his dedication to his project in spite of his condition. Still, I hope he can get the medical attention he needs as soon as possible.
