5th Cell, the development house behind acclaimed series like Scribblenauts and Drawn to Life, are working on a new project: a third-person shooter! The Xbox Live exclusive is called Hybrid, and will feature a post-apocalyptic sci-fi plot. Hints dropped on the official Hybrid website point toward a story about two invading factions who are battling over the future of the human race (which has been all but wiped out). It will be interesting to see what this unique developer’s take on the sci-fi shooter will be, and if they can bring anything new to this over-saturated genre.  |
