Activision recommended the closure of the game studio Bizarre Creations after being unable to find a buyer for it. Coddy Johnson, COO of Activision Worldwide Studios, said “I want to be clear, our first choice was to try and keep this group together and find a buyer for the studio. The decision comes after exhausted examination of a number of different options.”  As a result, 200 employees are facing unemployment. About this aspect of the closure, Johnson reassured, “We’re offering the studio as many resources as possible, including counseling, external placement services, and external career fairs.” |
