Hot on the heels of yesterday’s Tomb Raider announcement, another trilogy of games has been selected for compilation and re-release on the PS3. This time Splinter Cell is receiving the compilation treatment. However, in an interesting turn, it is not Sam Fisher’s most recent exploits that are going to be bundled together, but instead his PlayStation 2 outings.  The original Splinter Cell, as well as Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory, will all be part of the compilation, and even though these three were originally released on the PlayStation 2 individually and as part of the Splinter Cell “trilogy,” it looks like they will find a new life on the PlayStation 3 in this new compilation with “updated” graphics. |
