Arkham City Gets Incorporated

Arkham City Gets Incorporated

None

Rocksteady Studios has made a name for themselves with their incredibly stylish and engaging Batman games. Batman: Arkham City, which came out just in time to receive a Game of the Year nomination, has been a tremendous critical and commercial success for the developer. So much so, in fact, that they’re offering a couple of “thank you” bonuses to the fans.

First off: a free downloadable Batman skin. It dresses Bruce Wayne up in a Batman Inc. themed outfit, drawn from the pages of the hero’s recent worldwide expansion. It’s a darker yet simultaneously more classic suit, with notes of yellow to contrast the almost black cape and cowl.

But what would this bonus be if you weren’t able to use it? Generally, one must beat the main game once before allowed to go through the campaign using an alternate costume. To circumvent this, Rocksteady has also worked a cheat code (remember those?) into the game that enables players to use alterative Batman skins in the main game on their first playthrough. To activate the code, one must merely enter the following at the main menu after selecting a save slot:

Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down.

The player should receive audio confirmation if done correctly.
