Arkham City Is GameFly’s Most Requested Title

Modern Warfare 3 might be setting sales records, and Skyrim might be raking in awards, but Batman: Arkham City is setting a strange new record. In 2011, Arkham City was the most requested title on GameFly. Modern Warfare 3 took GameFly’s silver medal and Dead Island got the bronze.

This is actually a pretty strange list, but it might betray a little bit about GameFly’s customer base. If the most poplar game on planet earth (MW3) is only taking up second place, it means that GameFly’s player base is skewed in some way. In this case, they’re either interested in fundamentally different games, or they’re using GameFly as a supplement to their normal gaming regiment (in which case they would already own MW3).



Either way, here’s the breakdown of GameFly’s most requested titles by platform:
