Army of Two: The 40th Day Extraction Multiplayer Revealed; One Month Pre-Order Exclusivity

None

A teaser trailer for Armay of Two: The 40 th Day was released today that reveals footage of a vaunted new co-op multiplayer mode.

Called Extraction, up to four players will be able to join in on a “survive against all odds” setting. In other words, this mode will be similar to Horde mode in Gears 2 and Firefight in ODST. According to the devs, this is their favorite multiplayer game type.

The good news is that this mode will be made available for free post-launch via your preferred digital download service. Interestingly, those who pre-order the game will actually get one month of free access before anyone else can get at it. While this seems like a nice shout out to the fans that are willing to slap down $5 on it, there is a chance others will feel slighted.

We’ll have to wait and see if this proves to be a boon or bust marketing. For now, check out the Extraction trailer footage below.
