Asphalt 9: Legends Cheats & Cheat Codes for Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Windows, and More

Asphalt 9: Legends is a 2018 racing game similar to the other Asphalt games in the series. Gameloft Barcelona developed the game and Gameloft published it on July 25, 2018. It’s the 15th major game in the franchise. Asphalt 9: Legends is compatible with iOS, iPadOS, Android, Microsoft Windows, the Nintendo Switch, macOS, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Fire OS. Upon release, it received praise for its updated graphics and new features that weren’t in previous games.

When Asphalt 9: Legends launched, it opened to positive reviews from players and critics. The improvements Asphalt 9: Legends made to the game won over fans and critics alike and it has generally positive marks across every buyable platform. Steam gives the game a 9 out of 10, Apple’s App Store reviews give it a 4.8 out of 5, and Google Play rates it a 4.5 out of 5. The best part about Asphalt 9: Legends is that it is completely free to play on all platforms. Fans consider this game to be one of the best entries in the series, so getting to experience the gravity-defying stunts and extreme races for free is a great deal.

Asphalt 9: Legends Premise

In truth, there isn’t much of a plot to Asphalt 9: Legends. This game, as well as most of the games in the series, mainly focuses on winning races and collecting cool cars. That’s not to say that there’s no story at all, but it has never been the game’s focus. Drive Syndicate is probably the closest thing Asphalt 9 gets to having a story and it’s an event that features several missions and submissions. What really draws players in, however, is the racing itself. Like other sports-related games, Asphalt 9: Legends isn’t trying to be something it’s not. It’s about the love of racing and it puts its players in control of some of the fastest and most pristine racing machines ever built.

What really makes Asphalt 9: Legends stand out is how advanced it feels in comparison to the Asphalt games that came before it. In addition to shiny, new graphics, the game features many updates that older titles in the series don’t have. This game features some of the most prestigious racing cars in the world and new gameplay controls to make the game handle more accurately with more ease. Asphalt 9 added “Touch Drive”, an autopilot mode, and reintroduced the “Shockwave Nitro” mode from Asphalt 6: Adrenaline.

Asphalt 9: Legend features several different gameplay modes including Career, Multiplayer, Club, Daily Events, and Seasonal Events (Grand Prix, Starway, Special Event, and Drive Syndicate). As mentioned above, the Seasonal Events (mostly Drive Syndicate) are the only times players will get any sort of story. There are also several modes that feature different types of races including Classic, Time Attack, Hunted, and Slipstream.

Asphalt 9: Legends Main Characters

Asphalt 9: Legends doesn’t really feature any main characters. Players don’t control a playable character with a name and a backstory. Instead, players are supposed to insert themselves as the person behind the wheel of their chosen vehicle. The game even sells itself as an immersive, arcade-style racing game that tries to emulate real life. Asphalt 9: Legends praises itself for being hyper-realistic and seeks to make the players feel like they’re part of the racing world. It doesn’t focus on characters or stories. The gameplay itself is always the center focus.

Asphalt Titles in the Series

Gameloft’s Asphalt series consists of around 20 games across mobile devices, consoles, PCs, and even arcade games. The series has been going steady since the original game’s release in 2004, so it’s likely that fans will see more from this series in the future. Currently, Asphalt Moto Blitz DX is in the works and should be released in early 2024. A sequel game, Asphalt 10: Speed is also in the works with a current expected release date of summer 2024.

Asphalt 9: Legends features some pretty challenging gameplay. One of the best pieces of advice an experienced player can give to a new player is to take advantage of the Touch Drive feature, which is an autopilot mode that means players don’t have to manually control the car. Touch Drive allows players to control their car with just a few buttons rather than having to control every single aspect of the race manually. This feature makes gameplay much easier to manage and stay on top of. In fact, it’s so efficient that many players insist that unless a player is a seasoned Asphalt racer who got used to manual control in the older games, it’s best to stick to Touch Drive.

Even with the Touch Drive feature, Asphalt 9: Legends is a challenging game. There are plenty of levels and modes that feel impossible to win, especially on the first go around. For this reason, mods and trainers have come out for the Windows Store version of the game. MartaLabieniec created an Asphalt 9: Legends cheat table that includes 8 cheats that will make the game easier. This cheat table includes cheats for jump heights, speed, flying, and even teleportation. Of course, this is just one example of a cheat table or mod. PC players are likely to find a variety of options. Console and mobile players are a bit more limited to in-game mechanics and rewards, though.

Hunted Events Glitch

According to a racinggames.gg article about Asphalt 9: Legends, there is a simple way to glitch the Hunted mode. Hunted is a game mode where police pursue the racer similar to how police might hunt down the main character in Grand Theft Auto. To win the Hunted mode, players need to finish the race within the time limit, avoid wrecking their car, and avoid roadblocks. If the player crashes, hits a roadblock or is otherwise hindered from making progress, the cops will catch up to them and they will be Busted. Hunted is an extremely challenging game mode, but there’s apparently an easy way to cheat it.

  • Turn Touch Drive off
  • Launch a Hunted event
  • Select your car of choice
  • Turn Touch Drive back on
  • Play

These steps will allegedly help the player pick up a few extra and valuable seconds in the race that can make or break a good run.

Asphalt Redeem Codes Feature

Earlier this year, Asphalt 9: Legends revealed a new in-game feature that allows players to input redemption codes that will give them a number of in-game rewards. This Redeem Codes Feature updates frequently with new codes that grant tokens, themed skins for vehicles, resources, and other in-game rewards.

According to asphaltlegends.com, redeeming codes is as simple as one, two, three! These are the three steps they list to redeem any valid code:

  1. Open the Asphalt 9 redeem code website with your phone, tablet, or computer:
  2. Verify your Player ID
  3. Once verified, add your redeem code to receive the in-game rewards. Enjoy!

The best places to keep up to date with Asphalt 9: Legends news and new redemption codes are the Asphalt 9: Legends Twitter page and the Asphalt 9: Legends Discord server.

Here are some current redemption codes:

  • NEMESIS – 50 tokens (limited to 5,000 players)

Asphalt 9: Legends Cheats FAQs

Is it possible to hack Asphalt 9?

Yes, it is possible to hack Asphalt 9: Legends, but it’s not the best idea. Players may be tempted to do this because the game can get quite costly. While it’s free-to-play, it suffers from a lot of micro-transactions. This is a common problem free-to-play games develop, especially the longer the game remains playable. Hacking, however, is always a gamble. Using cheats or exploits isn’t quite the same as literally hacking the game. People who are caught hacking can be banned from the game and potentially have charges pressed against them.

Does Asphalt 9 have codes?

Yes, as stated above, earlier this year (2023), Asphalt 9 launched a Redeem Code Feature which is updated regularly. Players can get free in-game rewards just for entering the free codes.

How do you unlock all cars in Asphalt 9?

This FAQ refers to limited-time cars that become available through special events. Most of these cars can be obtained after the end of an event, but they can’t be unlocked by a blueprint. Players will need to use a special car key to obtain these cars.

How do you get money fast in Asphalt 9?

The fastest way to get money in Asphalt 9: Legends is to simply play the game. Most completed activities will award the player with money. This includes racing in Career Mode, Events, the Clash, and Multiplayer. Players can also earn money through Milestones and the Club feature. Of course, players can also purchase in-game money with real money.
