The Assassin’s Creed franchise is known for its vindicating plot tropes and stylized gameplay, which makes the shift to a comparably nonsensical batch of pirates a perfect chance to throw some swashbuckling loot in to a collector’s edition. Ubisoft has now confirmed the contents of Black Flag ’s Limited Edition, priced at $129.99. Here’s the rundown:
- The game itself
- An 18” figure of Edward Kenway atop a mast, sabre in hand
- A full embroidered 28” x 48” pirate flag, complete with the Assassin’s Creed logo
- A full 80-page art book
- A unique SteelBook case
- And the game’s original soundtrack
Why the word booty wasn’t integrated into the Limited Edition’s title is beyond me, but I’ll let it slide on account of the awesome flag.
