Battlefield 3 To Have 10 Times More Unlocks

Battlefield 3 To Have 10 Times More Unlocks

None

According to a recent Battlelog update, Battlefield 3 will have far more unlocks than Battlefield 2 had. The update said that Battlefield games are played for years after they are released, and as such, EA is planning to build a huge unlock tree that will last Battlefield gamers the entire lifespan of the game. The unlocks will be spread over weapons, weapon attachments, gadgets, and even vehicles which have their own separate unlock trees.

In addition, players will be able to earn medals, ribbons, and service stars which commemorate gameplay achievement. These rewards will unlock naturally as you use your favorite weapons, kits, or vehicles. For example, you can unlock an assault rifle ribbon by getting seven kills with an assault rifle in a round. Get fifty assault rifle ribbons and you will get an assault rifle medal. Ribbons, medals, and service stars will also unlock more hardware pertaining to the awards won.
