Best Buy Gets a Rockin’ Exclusive!

Best Buy Gets a Rockin’ Exclusive!

None

It’s no secret that Rock Band fans have been salivating over the Pro-mode Squier Stratocaster for months now, but more than a few Rock Band fans were dismayed at the peripheral’s 2011 release date. However, thanks to a new exclusivity deal between the guitar peripheral’s manufacturer and retail giant Best Buy, fans will be able to get their hands on the only “real” guitar compatible with Rock Band 3’s pro mode as early as next week! The peripheral will sell at the retailer for an MSRP of $280 (which officially makes it the most expensive peripheral ever).

And in an even more interesting twist, it seems that Best Buy will be the exclusive retailer for the Squier Stratocaster for the near future at least, which is prompting a few to cry foul, as there are no other guitar peripherals (with strings) planned for release any time soon.
