Ubisoft had originally announced that the servers for Tom Clancy’s The Division would go live at some point later today, but it seems like they have already gone live. Many players have been playing the game since this morning, and there are already many streams on Twitch and YouTube gaming. Although the game doesn’t officially launch until tomorrow, it seems that more than a few of you were able to snag a copy of the game early. Needless to say, if this is a game you’ve been waiting a long time for, you may want to steer clear of the internet today.
In addition to the early server activation, there was also a huge leak a couple of days ago that resulted from an extensive datamine. Every single mission, weapon, and character have been leaked, and all plans for near-future DLC were made obvious as well. For the sake of those waiting to play the game themselves, I won’t spoil everything for you; I myself have resisted all temptation to take a peek and see what awaits me at the endgame.
